No it is not their job to run into a suicidal line of fire and die. It is their job to prevent parents from compounding the situation by doing exactly that. The shooter was somewhere on the other side of that door with an assault rifle trained on the door. He had already proved that by opening fire on the first two cops immediately when they tried to open the door. Only a complete moron runs into that room and compounds the problem by becoming another victim and only a typically ignorant and selfish cunt would tell them they should.
