Mushroom (yes, "magic") spectacular results no lasting side effects that I'm aware of... I know people that were on antidepressants, their lives were made hell, but after detoxing from the antidepressants and microdosing mushrooms they turned their lives completely around. I've known this for years. Main Street medicine is starting to clue in. The pharmaceutical companies certainly don't want you to know this.

I was just looking into cultivating mushrooms. Seems like a neat hobby, and one that would work with my general lack of sunshine. Psilocybe azurescens and zapotecorum were the "magic" ones I was considering. I don't know what the legalities are yet, I don't particularly want to risk a felony charge for a hobby. But I enjoy the culinary use of mushrooms too, so I've been looking into it for regular mushrooms as well.

Cultivating possessing and using psilocybin mushrooms is illegal in every state currently but Colorado has decriminalized.... Oh also Oregon. Prohibition wasn't about protecting People's health it was about getting alcohol out of the fuel market.... Illegal psychedelics isn't about health it's about getting things that actually work out of the pharmaceutical market... Prohibition era... I would have still made alcohol... And from that I believe you can extrapolate what I'm doing about mushrooms.

Looks like the penalties in my state are particularly severe. 2 years in jail and $50k fine minimum. Yikes! Maybe I'll grow some button mushrooms instead.

Yeah I wonder what the bullshit excuses they use to call a useful medicinal plant illegal...
