They don't work. The studies used to approve these drugs were tiny (n=22 in some cases) and the results measured were self reported surveys from patients. There is also evidence that therapy is ineffective. The idea of a "chemical imbalance," is a failed idea from the 1950s. You can't really measure brain chemicals easily while something is alive. And the meds are a scatter shot approach, some increase serotonin, some decrease it, they all work about the same regardless.
It is a giant fraud, and it's not only hurt people, it has killed people. Anti-depressants, cox-2 inhibitors, and the recent covid vaccine. All huge failed projects from big pharma saddled on the populace at great expense.

I would go step further and suggest that the pharmaceutical companies know everything you just said... And the harm they inflict is intentional. Pharmaceutical companies aren't interested in cures they're interested in customers. And if you can create the illusion that one is being "helped"... Then you get to also treat all the harm the "help" does.

You're absolutely right, this was not an innocent mistake. They hide the studies that did not support the conclusion they wanted and cherry picked questionable ones that did.

If a sauna is the cure, you don't actually have a real problem.

Mushroom (yes, "magic") spectacular results no lasting side effects that I'm aware of... I know people that were on antidepressants, their lives were made hell, but after detoxing from the antidepressants and microdosing mushrooms they turned their lives completely around. I've known this for years. Main Street medicine is starting to clue in. The pharmaceutical companies certainly don't want you to know this.

I was just looking into cultivating mushrooms. Seems like a neat hobby, and one that would work with my general lack of sunshine. Psilocybe azurescens and zapotecorum were the "magic" ones I was considering. I don't know what the legalities are yet, I don't particularly want to risk a felony charge for a hobby. But I enjoy the culinary use of mushrooms too, so I've been looking into it for regular mushrooms as well.

Cultivating possessing and using psilocybin mushrooms is illegal in every state currently but Colorado has decriminalized.... Oh also Oregon. Prohibition wasn't about protecting People's health it was about getting alcohol out of the fuel market.... Illegal psychedelics isn't about health it's about getting things that actually work out of the pharmaceutical market... Prohibition era... I would have still made alcohol... And from that I believe you can extrapolate what I'm doing about mushrooms.

Looks like the penalties in my state are particularly severe. 2 years in jail and $50k fine minimum. Yikes! Maybe I'll grow some button mushrooms instead.

Yeah I wonder what the bullshit excuses they use to call a useful medicinal plant illegal...

This is not new, people have known for a long time. Antidepressants and the Placebo Effect.
They duck your head up. Don’t take them.
