I'm not sure I'd pay anything for it. I do watch Netflix, on a shared account, but if they cut that off I don't know that anyone will have a subscription. Sharing is part of the value too, and they're talking about ending that.
With ads they'd have to compete with the free streaming platforms, which have a lot of the same content.
It'll be funny if Netflix put both Blockbuster and itself out of business with streaming. At first because nobody would adopt steaming, and now because big companies with the rights to extensive media collections are all going into streaming.
