We do that too, sign up for streaming services and cancel when they're out of content, or the special promotion ends, etc..

peacock

They have Battlestar Galactica. I don't think I pay anything for Peacock. There's also Tubi, Vudu, and Pluto TV that offer free streaming.

Hulu

They were kinda hard to cancel. Our account was completely messed up. I thought they were fine when we were paying the $12 for a year promo, not so much the regular rates. They were talking about another season of Futurama, that show has a lot of fans. We'd get it for that, probably nothing else.

400+ DVD (yes actual DVDs) of older movies pre 2010 anyway

I think all of our movies are in boxes. They take up a lot of room and we rarely watch the same thing twice, with some notable exceptions. Streaming really suits me. What used to be an event, going to the movies, is now so commonplace you can practically stream a new movie 24/7 as background noise if you wanted.
