That kind of answer is what happens when you feel you are protected by the system and the media. She has an opinion. She thinks that it would be harmful to her "group" if she answered, no matter what that is. The media is running cover for her until she's in place. Nothing short of a scandal would keep her out, but they still play these games. Politics.

Politicians (as Judge Jackson has now become) used to admit lying when they were caught. I've seen "deny, deny, deny" for the past dozen years. Even Bill Clinton 'fessed up when he knew he was caught.

I think she feels the opposite of protected. That's why she had to put up a "don't hit me" sign.
