I don't get what the Jews are whining about on this one. Obviously they don't want the question of whether they are a separate race discussed, but they don't seem to have any articulable complaint here. It's not like Whoopi disputed anything substantial about their stupid holocaust hoax.

People are just so surprised she could get the facts so wrong.

It's not about Jews being white, it's the idea they weren't targeted because of race. Hitler himself said multiple times he viewed Jews as a race not a religion. She was talking about Maus which has such a quote inside the front cover.
