Subtle point! I really think that there is something to be said for just keeping stupid people busy.

The truly sad part is that the stupid people are the ones with multiple phd's.

I work with at least 100 scientists regularly, and I can say with complete confidence that most of them are incompetent outside of the very narrow field they study. Some of them are not even competent in their own field.
