NO - there is NO information that these drugs will have to be taken WITH the vaccine shots. They CAN be taken regardless of vaccine shots. It's also not surprising that Phizer would work on a drug like this. Whereas vaccine shots should be sufficient for everyone, there will be reasons to favor this other kind of drug (consider also that political propagandists want anti-vaxxers to take a dewormer instead of the vaccine). There is no indication in these reports that you'd be required to take the new COVID drug and the vaccine shot, but that the one should not cause problems for the other.
