To normalize it in the general conscious so people are numb to it, (as if they weren't already numb). I'm of the school of thought that they cannot do anything without this unspoken conscious agreement. Hence why they use programming the unconscious mind to get the conscious mind to go along with it. Or we are just living in the post-truth era where it doesn't matter what the truth is. People are ready to just concede. I know plenty of rational people who literally just want to "get back to normal" and are following things the authorities say blindly cause they believe it will get them to their version of normal. (being a Daisy buchanan). When questioned as to why they take the vaccine or wear 3 masks... they are like yeah I mean nothing's changing for me I just want to go along to get back to normal. We are headed down a scary road. Even those who have a brain and question things are simply going along, and dont even argue when you bring up solid talking points. They agree with you. Idiocracy is becoming reality every day, its kind of funny and sad at the same time.
