Maybe they should focus on making the country one which men would volunteer to defend.

Yeah. That must be it.

So seriously, when did you start to hate America?

Have you thought about Saudi Arabia? We will have a well-paid opening in early April. Iran might be a good choice. (Afghanistan not so much.)

Booze is expensive af in Saudi though.

I would not know about the price of alcohol here.

Here? You live in Saudi Arabia? How's that?

I used to talk to an alcoholic programmer who lived there. I think he said a 750mL bottle of some shit tier booze like Jack Daniels went for a hundo.

I follow the laws of the country I am in.

The thing about Saudi Arabia is that it makes whatever you are worse. If you are a drunk, you will live in an alcoholic fog. If you are gay, you will spend your time in some very active social circles. If you read (as I do) you will read a rather lot.

What do you like reading? I like military sci fi personally.

I just finished a really neat little book, Inside the White House, which tells the story of Truman's restoration of the White House. I am from the DC area, so that stuff interests me. What really kills me in The Failing New York Times, I paid for it, so I am going to at least thumb through it each day. The distraction makes it hard to keep on top of the pile.

Here is a list from last year.

Ohm, try this series, Napoleonic dragons are the best kind of dragon.

When we refused to crack down on the leftist cry-bullies.

Those worthless “woke” slime are ruining this countries. They have been around for quite some time (decades) ... it’s only recently that they have gained enough power to truly fuck things up.

For example, in response to the siege of the federal courthouse in Portland, the government should have rolled in either the marines or the army with armor support. Crush those fuckers.

When did you go soft on the enemies of this country ?

You had me in the first part but lost me with this. I didn't like it when the national guard was stationed at the airport with automatic rifles or what they did in LA during Katrina. I don't like the razor wire in the Capitol. It feels wrong. That's not America. We shouldn't use military forces on civilian populations.
