When I'm walking to a building that requires it through the parking lot, I never ever put it on before the second I walk through the door. Then the second I leave the door I take it off. I don't get all these people wearing them in the parking lots outdoors, I think that's a bad habit that has normalized it beyond what is necessary

You could try the 100% incognito experience.

Hoodie over your head, dark/mirrored shades, and the most porous and breathable masks available.
Heavy black leather gloves.

They sell mesh rhinestone covers 6 for $16 at Bezosistan.

Bling-bling bitches! You can see right through to skin, but you can't put the face together.
Also, the heavy leather gloves might mean business.

Looking like a 2019 armed robber, sans the gun. If you have to engage with anyone, then use the worst falsetto voice you can muster. Fake hard.

Cause you're shopping for whatever, and currently self-identify as also whatever.

Good luck facial recognizing that.
Better check my plates; cars tinted too... ;-)

I have a full face mask with powered air supply (paintshop style).

    I love it.

    You've inspired me.

I should start looking for deals on something like this.

Bonus points against the Wuhan flu cause it's a Chinese suit. It's authentic, because they misspelled "Fighher".

The hoax pandemic is over in China.

    Fight Fighher with Fighher.

Yeah the UK is as much a joke as Australia and NZ at this point. Absolute nanny state, with few people putting up any resistance. Australians because they're so soft because life has been good for so long so they don't see a need to resist, and the UK because they're so browbeaten in to conformity over centuries.

I wear it only exactly when I'm explicitly required to, that's my little resistance against it. I'm walking across the grocery store parking lot, the only one without a mask on. But I'm not being a jerk, nor am I breaking any rules. I'm just re-normalizing lack of mask outdoors. Feels like a good balanced approach lots of people could take without causing friction

Shay's rebellion was damn cool but people forget their enemies.

At the door of the grocery we add the mask,

Don't you mean you wear 4 masks, and follow Faucci's fables?

      https://saidit.net/s/politics/comments/7fg8/florida_restaurant_goes_viral_for_face_diapers/s07t

      Quoting socks:

      You said this:

      I support personal freedom.

Which means that you would want everyone to have their 'personal freedom', right?

That works when people wear masks, which is so simple that anyone can easily do it without any problem. Case closed

      Righteous!

Edit: socksbot continues to double down into absurdity. Disgraceful.

      It's worth a read.

..Are we supposed to be wearing the damned things outside too? I don't really give a crap about wearing it inside, if anything it's keeping me warm as long as I'm not doing anything outside of walking. I could imagine it getting hellishly hot for anyone overweight though.

      [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think we are expected to wear it outside when we're closer than 6 feet to someone, such as outside a bar, or coffee place, or where others are standing or walking or on mass transit. If I have to walk through a group of people standing around outside, I'll put the mask on just before walking through them. In the US this might not be common in places where people drive to their destinations.

Jokes on you, we all had mask fetish but didn't dare to do it until now! And now we can wear them everywhere.

      [–]Touchngo 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I don't even do that. I'll only put one on (temporarily), if they specifically ask me to, and provide one. I take if off and accidentally leave it on a shelf somewhere in the store. The only place I wear one it as work, because they require it, and because, well, I kinda need the paycheck! I take the dirty glares from the sheep in masks as a badge of honor as I walk about in stores doing my thing without a mask on. Sometimes I'll even let out a little snicker at those who glare at me!

      [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

doubt it I bet you wear one like a good sheep everywhere

      [–]Touchngo 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Think what you want as you graze the grass like a good little sheep. What you (or anyone else for that matter) think, matters to me not.

      [–]whistlepig 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I don't wear one... I've only been asked to leave 3 establishments in the last year. Establishments that I will never return to. They've burnt that bridge. The good thing about sheep is that most of them don't really care or they're too afraid to say anything.
