Why would I possibly want to spend time asking soldiers what they want to do?

Because a rebellion from within the army could empower the public.

Senior enlisted (and many lower enlisted) have real street smarts. Practical social intelligence, and experience being lied to by power.

Most officers are smart enough, but rank lower in street smarts, as it's mostly been "educated" out of them.
Even so, most officers have (ugly) wives who are smarter than their husbands.
These gossiping wives have useful intel.

Gosh. Well I can see you are the leadership cadre of the Revolution.

The military revolution would be a coup, and I want no part of that.

I'm a man of the people.

BTW: Did you like the comment about the wives? It's hilarious. I have no idea why that happens.

Maybe they're gay, and want someone smart to talk to...? Who knows?

Because you were paid to do it. Possibly.

I am paid to get things done.

Did you pay yourself to take the jab?
