    There are some exceptions to the rule, however. CNN notes that the sale and manufacturing involving leather, cowhide, and shearling are not affected and that Native American tribes are exempt, as well. Vintage fur and taxidermy will not be outlawed, either, and fur that is lawfully taken with a hunting license is also allowed.

    Now people just gonna buy their fur from the Indians like they do with ciggs.

    Also circus animals were banned.

              Fur trappers are evil. Almost as evil as missionaries. This has been the case since, like, forever. Them missionaries and trappers were the ones that showed Sutter how to get to Portland and from there he caught a boat to Hawaii and subsequently Alta Cali. He was a piece of garbage. Shoulda stayed in Germany, but no, the dumb idgit trappers had to babysit him on the oregon trail. This was in the early 1800s, mind you, when literally NO-ONE was tryna get to the west coast.
