I think you will rue that attitude once you're lving through one.

No matter how unreasonable and frustrating and terrible a subset of our population is, you can't let them steer you into civil war. The way they can do that is be spreading their radical notions. Our job is to fight these ideas online and in person. When I have enough karma I am going to open a sub where we can exchange best practices for fighting these ideas- concrete things each of us can actually do with our families, our neighbors our local and national governments.

Not just letter writing, but real things which can change minds. I want us all to spitball ideas. I've tried some thnigs which failed and tried some thngs which suceeded. I am getting better at talking to people. I am collecting high quality resources I can share. I cut off doing business with a number of big online tech comapnies who are fueling the flames of civil war. It all adds up. We're the cowardly lion the general populace which , if it can act together and stop being afraid, has the power to rule this jungle we're in.

We have to stop the spread of this disease or it is going to be civil war, which is exactly what people like Clinton and OAC and Pressley WANT.

Believe me, ten years of civic efforst is less painful than one day spent in a MadMaxian world or civil war. No one who lives through a civl war has any romance about it at all.
