This has got to be one of the worst written article of all time. It reads like a high schoolers essay that was written in 15 minutes. It kind of felt like every paragraph was 1/4 of a totally brand new thought.

I guess it's not an article you actually supposed to read, just a nice title that everyone would agree with

I doubt a true bottom-up socialist society has ever been realized. At least I've never heard of such a society, so any comparison is speculative.

Additionally, the reality of Western crony-capitalism is subsidy and socialism for the wealthy, and free market for the poor. The Western system is "capitalism" in name only. Similarly, no one believes that the Nazis were socialist, etc.

Political leaders in capitalist countries who cheer the collapse of socialism in other countries continue to favor socialist solutions in their own. They know the words, but they have not learned the tune.
