Although I semi agree with you and I understand where you're coming from. The same people who will dismiss this murder as a one-off and won't address interracial crime that disturbs their narrative will turn on a dime and say "white silence is violence".

If they believe silence is consent (I don't) then that speaks volumes about the things they only talk about.
