Child abuse. It's simply pure child abuse. Children have incredibly vague ideas about themselves that change radically with age. We don't put special emphasis on a child saying he wants to be a firefighter, and yet children are allowed to have their bodies radically altered. This started with circumcision. We don't have real state protections for bodily autonomy of children, IMO, and that allowed precedent for this kind of thing. We need strict body autonomy laws to protect children until they reach age of majority.
