They think he's the guy. Hasn't been convicted. We'll see if the charges stick. You'd think a hacker with this much skill would've been harder to find.

The $100k thing still seems weird to me. This dude could have caused chaos. He could gotten triple that if he wanted to. So many things with this don't add up.

Or he's a dude who saw a twitter admin's password on a sticky note and laughed his ass to the bank until the feds kicked in his door.

    If this is the guy, he's not getting away with much. Additional security will probably be added after this... unless he knows something twitter and homeland security doesn't, and makes a plea deal to trade the info to the government for a reduced sentence.

    Tinfoil hat aside: Only $100,000? This dude could have done so much. All that power and he can't even get more than a few bucks? Smartest idiot with no ambition. No surprise he's in jail. Would've been sooner or later with that level of foresight.
