Slandering someone as a racist doesn't negate a premise. If you can't view your opponent with some modicum of humanity without resorting to slurs, you are then engaging in the same behavior you assume "racists" are guilty of.

I called that guy a piece of shit. I also said he should go to jail. I did that in that thread. Claiming I was trolling people "who posted any kind of concern" is a load of shit. One guy said "Wow, I really don't understand why nobody respects african "americans", when they do such upstanding and valiant things as this.", which isn't "posting any kind of concern", it's just him mouthing off about black people in general because of the actions of one jackass. Another guy said "if you support any person who is black, you will very quickly be supporting violent gangs", and I replied with a simple OK boomer.

But of course, you don't seem to care about actual facts too much, you just jump on whatever "facts" affirm your worldview. A few days ago it was "most people who were lynched weren't black" (they were) and "white supremacy is an anti-white lie (it isn't). Now it's that this guy was a communist (he wasn't) who shot at the driver first (he didn't, although if it does turn out he pointed his gun at the driver then I'll concede it's still a case of legitimate self-defense).

Hopefully you and Truth get back together sometime because being wrong this much seems like it should be exhausting.

What determines whether or not you are a racist is your beliefs and behavior, and is entirely within your control. It's perfectly fair to make value judgements with regards to someone's character on that basis. That is in contrast to your ethnicity, which you can't control, and shouldn't be judged by.

And you are correct, I was being dismissive, because his is just a racist.

It's dehumanizing, and you are engaging in the same behavior as he is. And in some ways there is enough research to strongly suggest generally "racist" beliefs are ingrained in the human psyche. So in some sense, he can't entirely help the way he is. Though admittedly, he could work on his communication style a little bit.
