The court decided that government officials can combine separate parcels of private land in determining whether public officials have effectively taken private property through zoning laws and must pay compensation. The ruling could make it harder for property owners to prove compensation claims.

Sounds basically like they're increasing the power of "eminent domain" and making it harder for landowners to fight this and get properly paid, and it happened due to what occurred in the Keystone pipeline fiasco by the sound of it.

The US is a police state now. Americans should be out in the streets with pitchforks and torches, but instead they would rather shut up, cover their ears, and put their heads in the sand.

Weird.
