The Soviets also used ex-Nazis. So did the Austrians, West Germans, and Poles. Only the East Germans made an huge effort to get rid of all of them. For them it was easier as most high-ranking Nazi had fled west.

The East Germans are why we should have shoved them all in their own death camps. It's racist not to hate them.
