Politics should stay out of science. Anything remotely close to the subject results in people bitching at each other. Doesn't matter what they say, somebody on twitter is going to say "They said it wrong! Reeeeeeee" and they'll take it back, change their mind, put something else up, change their mind, put something else up.

Whole thing is insanity at this point.
