Isn't it interesting how places that are dominated by people that preach equality have the most inequality. Visit LA and San Francisco sometime if you need to see it for yourself, lots of extremely rich leftists and a shitload of poor and homeless.

For more extreme examples of inequality the far left creates look to North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, China, Russia. These were the places that were supposed to have equality through communism/socialism yet turned out to have rampant poverty while the ruling class and the elitist class are wealthy.

If there's one thing I learned about the modern left is all that matters is what you say you're gonna do and what you say will happen, but the actual historical results mean absolutely nothing even if they've proven to be disastrous time and time again. It will always be different the next time around, it will finally work this time. Insanity.

I'm not so sure about lumping Cuba in with the rest. They have legit healthcare, and infact export doctors. They bounce back from hurricanes better than anyone else.

Their main economic problem is the embargo imposed on them, for the crime of Independence from the global hegemon.

The state salary is a whopping $20 per month in Cuba. Keep swallowing that kool aid comrade.

The avg income metric is only useful if there is a significantly different cost of living. Like a $100k salary is barely making ends meet if you live in SF.

Also, who estimated the income? The hegemon with the embargo?

Lol commies always blame the US for all their failures, it's beyond pathetic.

Like a $100k salary is barely making ends meet if you live in SF.

Ask anyone making $100k in SF if they'd trade that to live in Cuba for $20 a month LOL

Lived in the Bay Area for years. My argument is legit.

There's an reason that the US has wanted to reconquer Cuba, and it isn't to liberate the local people.

Bro, don't fall for their propaganda.

Your argument is legit? Your argument is disconnected from reality. You have people risking their lives on banana boats to flee the oppression and poverty in Cuba and you act like someone making $100k in San Fran is somehow comparable? You don't realize how stupid that sounds?

Sounds like you fell for Castro's propaganda and you don't even live in Cuba, shame.

It only sounds stupid if everything you think you know about Cuba was seeded into your brain by the MSM programming.

You know a lot of the MSM tries to sugarcoat that backwards oppressive authoritarian nation like what you're attempting. Why not try listening to people that actually lived there and risked their lives to escape, you know the ones that can actually speak freely without having to worry about getting locked up for not kissing the Cuban governments ass.

Cuba doesn't even have a real media, just state propaganda that you're unironically regurgitating. At least the US media can criticize and investigate officials and government, go try that in Cuba.

Who escaped, and what did they have to say?

The US has corporate/private propaganda. That you're unironically regurgitating.

What exactly has Cuba specifically done that you find so offensive?

stop sabotaging socialist countries and they would shit on usa

[–]Trucker_Joe 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Socialism is self sabotage, it fails on its own every time.

Even the Chinese communists ditched their disastrous socialist economics for capitalism. Only Cuba and North Korea are still clinging hard to such a failed system.

(((capitalism))) vs (((marxism))))

tho socialism existed before marx and is a good thing

[–]Trucker_Joe 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

socialism is beyond moronic and out of touch with human nature, it's usually only espoused by jealous losers that can't compete in the marketplace from either being too lazy or too stupid
