That's a good one. I remember in 1986 at UM Rolla, taking an English Composition class on King Authur, and the professor saying Southern Cross was a reference to the Knights of the Round Table searching for the Holy Grail. The Southern Cross is the first constellation you see as you pass the equator when the stars are in the sky. It can't be seen from the North.

Ahh the good old days, when you could just make some shit up and not get fact checked. I can't even imagine seeing brand new constellations. I guess I should try it.
