Saw them at a small club called Numbers on June 11th, 2002. Good show.

Cool! I wonder what kind of crowd a KMFDM show draws. I saw NIN once and it was a pretty good show. But I prefer KMFDM because they're a little more metal.

I saw NIN once and it was a pretty good show.

I saw them in 2000. Trent Reznor was already kinda old and I was impressed he was as motile as he was. It was a good performance.

I am surprised I ever had use of the word motile. We should have a word of the day sub here.

There were some hardcore people decked out in leather and spikes, but mostly normal looking people. It was a small club, 200 people max or so, although that was crowded af.

My buddy and I went into the Mosh Pit and he hit a dude hard and apologized, saying something like "sorry man," only to realize it was a really tall butch woman, not a man.

I also remember feeding ice chips to some drunk girl, I mean as a group trying to help her feel less awful from drinking too much. I might be conflating that with another time though, saw a few shows there.

I think I am, I think I'm thinking of the time my gf got panties signed by the band -- they were selling the panties with the band logo, wasn't on her.

I hadn't really reached my peak fuckup period yet but there were still a fair amount of drugs being consumed so my memories are a little hazy. And it was a long time ago.

Moshpits sound like a pretty cool metal thing to take part in but they're dangerous. I went to a Slayer show when I was about 18 and I was right in front of them behind the gates. Big mistake. I was pushed against the fence by the moshing mob for most of the show not counting the number of times I got kicked in the head by people body surfing. My ribs hurt for the next two weeks.

I had a similar experience, wasn't the moshpit exactly, but the crowd was trying to get close to the front when we were at the gate. I think that might have been a Dio show. My buddy, friggin genius, invited two cute girls who were getting smooshed to stand in front of us so we could try to push back against the crowd. Didn't work out that great, trying to push back against a sea of people is pretty impossible, but we did spend the show pressed into a couple cute ladies.

Not too bad. All I got was a grungy looking punk girl tripping balls on PCP and holding on to my forearm trying not to fall down. I'm not a big Dio fan but the man had am amazing voice. Holy diver!

I enjoy Man on the Silver Mountain, but my bud was the hardcore Dio fan.

Still better than a grungy looking dude holding onto you.
