People often forget that before The Matrix there were other "red pills". Arnold Schwarzenegger in Total Recall was offered a red pill but he saw the beads of sweat. The footage in this video is from George Lucas' first movie THX-1138 .

For decades I thought one of the muffled samples was, "Who are the Nazis?" Especially since I didn't have the video or Google and even though I'd seen the movie I forgot the context much less when the sample occurred in the movie. The sample is actually, "Who art without sin."

There are two really good "Red Pill" documentaries...

There was another documentary released shortly before that one on YouTube called the "The Red Pill" about Libya before and after it was stomped by the USA, but at some point the name was changed before the Johnny Gat channel was terminated. I love samples, but in this case I love the syncopated breakbeats and am considering cutting out the samples and vocals (while I like some goth-esque stuff I'm neither goth nor religious) and further edit this track down to be intro music for my animated series. Maybe. It's a contender. And maybe I'll add red pill soundbites.
