I've noticed a 100% correlation between those who are patting themselves on the back for the shut-down and those who lost nothing as a result.

Yeah, my OH works for the UK civil service and if anything the lockdown has given us more money because no commute costs now.

They just aren't feeling the burn.

Essential personnel in the US too , many still have to drive to work, but there's been some pay bumps, bonuses, stimulus and plenty of hours.
