bruh... literally the government where i live only does things for the people right before an election comes up. and they always just end up doing the same thing in the same place. for example I have an election for the mayor of my city coming up. Well imagine my shock when the same street that was paved 4 years ago was getting paved last month. I remember saying to someone "looks like we have an election coming up". a week after that signs for the candidates started popping up.
