I disagree, maybe 10% are justified at most. Other developed countries do not have nearly the rates of police murdering civilians as the US does. US cops are allowed to play judge, jury, and executioner, and the justice system is set up to defend that and turn a blind eye when it's cops doing the killing, and that needs to change.

Not really a matter of opinion those are the facts. Other countries don't have rampant gun culture so the cops aren't completely on edge worrying about if the next hood rat is gonna pull a gun on them to get away with his crack rocks.

Other countries also train their police for 4 years, while the US is 6 months.

Other countries also don't equip their police with military equipment for free with stipulations they must use it within a few months or return it.

There are things we can improve upon.

Well that is not going to happen because the left wing idiotic zealots want to defund the police and all things you mention take funding.

Many things needs to be addressed, a lot the issues lay in the black community. But they will NEVER EVER let go of their victim mentality as a community. In addition, they will NEVER practice introspection and realize that thug/gang culture in their community is a major part of these issues.

Yes to some degree, but people are getting pissed off enough to pool their money to fix how broken the police system is, and a lot of people are doing it in ways that might actually work, who are outsize of the zealots that want no police to exist at all or whatever nonsense. The people who can see the gray area and the subtlety, are the ones who might have a chance to make real change. There's a lot of corruption, which is how we got here in the first place, but when corruption gets too bad, it often becomes unstable as history shows.

The whole black/white conversation is a complete distraction from the actual issue of police misconduct that affects all Americans. Just read about civil asset forfeitures and seizures! They can literally steal your stuff for no reasons and there's basically nothing you can do about it.

Stuff like that needs to change. And although a lot of idiots are trying to spearhead the conversation and take it in ridiculous directions, there is still this need to make actual meaningful change that will improve the quality of life for the American people

That is happening/happened across all 5 eyes countries.

Bring in asset seizure laws and say its to take property/vehicles off bikie gangs and organized crime. The public support it. Reality, someone growing weed in their house and selling it has their home taken away. Even though they paid for the house with legally earned wage. Losing the house is way bigger penalty than any of the penalties on the books for the crime you did. Its insane.

Bring in laws where you must hand in encryption keys/password says it to target terrorist and pedophiles. The public support it. They then use these laws to target journalist and spy on populations.

Whatever police force you have in america if its going to be effective more blacks are going to be arrested because of the criminality ingrained in their culture/communities. Unless issues in the black communities are addressed instead of blame the police, blame whitey, etc nothing will ever change.

You mentioned the 5 eyes intelligence cooperation program, that alone warrants an upvote.

There are lots of things the public support, like you said, it's just a matter of making those things become law in the face of a corrupted legal and judicial structure. Not to mention the Freemasonry influence in these groups is rampant. These social connections often supersede the written law, and it has created a feedback loop of corruption that needs to be reversed.
