Most people worldwide couldn't care less that there are guns. Many also admire that fact of the US culture.

Look, I've roamed all across Muslim lands and I can tell you from personal experience that many do admire American culture along with the science, technology and developments it produces. If American influence was confined to exporting cool tech and "freedom", most Muslims would in fact end up feeling an overwhelming love and sympathy for America. Why there ends up being animosity is because of foreign policy: the American military doesn't honor the principles of democracy and freedom when it interferes in legit Muslim democracies because the people hold an opinion or policy which is considered unacceptable. American leadership clearly prefers the puritanical lunatics in Saudi murdering innocents over "free democracies" in the region because it is predictable and keeps the money flowing...

The right to have a well armed militia to protect from an oppressive government is a great concept but it isn't working according to the principle it was designed to clearly. Practically, the American government and military are already bigger than anything else like it the world has ever seen. The American people can't do anything about that and even if they wanted to do, they are too easily hypnotized and manipulated. The only thing you're allowed to do is buy guns and line someone else's pockets, you aren't allowed to change the status quo with your right to bear arms. Any change you are allowed to bring has to be preapproved by the powers that shouldn't be...

Could not have said it better. The government will NEVER take guns away from the people. They don't have to. Managing perception through perception management is far easier and far more impactful. The "Twinbom" as titled by the FBI in their 9/11 report before their investigation was thwarted by higher-ups, illustrates that most people and even lower government agents knew the official 9/11 story was a farce, and yet we continue to choose political sides, myopically identifying with party extremes, armed to the teeth while our brains rot.

It is so difficult for some people to realize this. The war being fought right now is being fought with tech and a huge part of it just involves control of public perceptions. The right to bear arms does little to fight that war and the American public is losing unfortunately. People don't know their own roles in the system...
