Oh yes, this is coming. Luckily for myself and wife, we have been purchasing cows by the quarter, butchered on-site at an organic farm, abattoir and butcher shop. The cows eat grass, the owners know us from years of being supporters of their business, so I don't see how I'm starving any time soon.

Unless the government seizes all farms? I mean, I guess that might happen? But then if it does and there's STILL no revolution, Jesus help us.

Envious. I have little to nothing to rely on beyond my wits and my projects that could become fruitful (with time and focus).

They've done a masterful number on the brainwashed.

Worse yet: Half of everyone is stupider than average, and most of the rest are really fucking close to average - and those who stand out only have their limited fields of expertise... and are otherwise generally average.

You are right, there are only a tiny few true titans of the mind, who stand head and shoulders above geniuses. I know only one - myself.

Geniuses stand out at 130+ but Mensa is at 140+.

My chapter of Mensa accepts people at 125. Or did, I'm not current on what they do with that. Mostly I find these people more clueless than the rest and pretentious windbags at that, generally speaking. I interact with them as little as possible.

The exact mental science demonstrates how intelligence really isn't grounded in the "intellect" per se and how even people of modest intellect are able to surpass great genius by applying the correct forces to the psyche. Wasn't it Mozart who said, "You look for genius in the intellect, but my view is that genius is borne out of love."

Nice. I guess it's close like horseshoes. I have no interest in meeting Mensa folks for similar impressions though I've not ever met one I'm aware of.

I'd like to pretend that I'm a genius but I don't want to prove myself wrong with a test. In grade 9 we took a test. I got 129, 1 short of "genius". All the way through the multiple choice A B C or D test I kept leaving blanks on the tricky ones to go back later and randomly fill them in at the last minute - but when I finished test I forgot to go back and fill them in! I guess the test prove I wasn't a genius.

Yeah tests are worth whatever. Back when my intellect was in full force, I got 174. Nowadays I'd be surprised if I even reached 120, but then again I find the intellect to be a cumbersome, lumbering and inherently stupid beast. Reducing the mind to data processing capacity is misguided at best. The mind has so much more to offer than computing.

Agreed. The tests are as biased as anything.

I haven't seen tests for street smarts, fashion sense, manners, compassion, pragmatism, character, efficiency, religiosity, well-being, fulfillment. But I haven't looked either, because if I found some I know they'd be biased - and I don't need a test to define who I already know I am.

But, if you will humor me in a separate thread where we could discuss this other topic, and I don't know where the proper Sub would be, I contend that one cannot ever know oneself.

I can't guarantee anything. I'm backed up with 200+ messages, can't stop looking at new content and joining in new discussions, my comments are rarely sparse, and I have ambitious projects I want to do. But I'm game.

I made this last year but I abandoned my multisubs categorizations of SaidIt subs project:

On the right you'll see all the subs that relate to "minds".

If that were inches you'd be almost 12 feet tall and that's almost gross.

Not sure but farmers in twitter show pictures and photos. An upside down system we have.

      Beyond tragic. No words...

      "Orange" - hahaha, clever.

But no mention of New Soiled Hoarders? (New World Order)

      Also: spawn = children + in-law Jared.

      [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

      UNHOLY - Jewish.

      [–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

      I didn't say that, but I won't object.

I don't buy into religion and rarely use "holy" or "unholy" but I was actually trying to imply Zionist and Luciferian.

      [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Zionist and luciferian is, an unholy proportion of the time, Jewish. ;-)

And yes, that was just my view on it. ;-)
