That's such a crappy summary. The video doesn't even go in to the war. It explains the three factions in Japan (reasonable, insane warmongers, absolutely batshit insane warmongers) and how events that we've never heard of shaped the ebb and pull among them. The reasonables were eliminated, and the insane warmongers compromised with the absolutely batshit insane warmongers and made a plan that was never going to work.
