Environmentalism is not the same thing as climate change. That's just a huge pile of garbage. Claiming it represent anything other than filth is a lie.

Hey! Do you wish to see something truly terrifying? Look at the push back and denial in this thread!

Environmentalism is not the same thing as climate change.

Yep. It's a pollution issue. Period.

They never call it "global warming" anymore, because it's all bullshit. Man made climate change is a hoax.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

what's fucked is all of the effort that went into climate change rather than pollution and toxins. recycling is a goddamn lie too.

From the fucking article:

Methane is the second most abundant greenhouse gas after carbon dioxide, but a more potent contributor to the climate crisis because methane traps more heat. India creates more methane from landfill sites than any other country, according to GHGSat, which monitors methane via satellites.

I think you may be wasting your time citing greenhouse gas information to climate deniers, its like talking to a brick wall. The article had plenty of information about how the trash mountain was poisoning their water, and I have seen even climate denying saiditors care about industrial poisons in the environment. I had hoped saiditors would care about this, but I suspect many did not read the article because the title had 'climate' in it.

[–]Questionable 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

You have linked climate change to environmental damage because the article juxtaposes these 2 things in it. Do you see the problem? There is no cause and effect, it's simply expecting you to have an emotional reaction, and then for you to bridge that gap on your own. Now lets talk about 'carbon footprint' shall we? All life on earth is carbon based. This will remain a reality, even if all humans die. And plants thrive on CO2. Their next target? Nitrogen. 78% of the atmosphere is nitrogen. It's the bases of fertilizer. Do we talk about the power grid, and how it is impossible for anything more than a minority to go electric?

Even die hard liberal Matt Groening new whats up 32 years ago, when the world had already been forecasted to have ended.

You want us to pretend that an electric car is more energy efficient than a gas vehicle or diesel? Because it's not.

climate deniers,

Simple labels, are used to more easily discredit people. It's an aspect of physiological conditions. It's is done as it is easier to label and discredit, then to think about what is being said. As a person who has recently spoken up about the pyramid of debate, I am well certain you know what that is called. Name calling. /\/\

Yes. From the 'fucking article'. You're mistake is assuming good faith on their part, where as in fact they are pushing a narrative to appease their owner that pay them to do so. Oh who am I kidding? Nobody here trusts you, as you seem only interested in 'winning' arguments, and care little for facts, or truthfulness.

You're mistake is assuming good faith on their part, where as in fact they are pushing a narrative to appease their owner that pay them to do so.

Oh, you think they made up that methane leaks from landfill?

There's a whole industry generating power by burning methane captured from such sites.

You'd better let them know about this "bad faith" thing, before they find out themselves when the generators stop working.

[–]Questionable 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (14 children)

OH look, you are highlighting a single random meaningless point from the article, and acting like it matters in some way, and that we are going to debate it.

Hey fun fact! You don't need to burn just the methane. You can instead burn the waste before it generates methane in a waste to energy plant. Because what you just said is a retarded waste of time and resources. And nets less energy.

In addition, none of which proves good faith on behalf of the author, who is paid to push the agendas of the WEF.

[–]ActuallyNot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

OH look, you are highlighting a single random meaningless point from the article,

No the part of the article that the headline is based on, and that you didn't get in your comment: "Environmentalism is not the same thing as climate change. That's just a huge pile of garbage. Claiming it represent anything other than filth is a lie."

Now that I've taken my time to explain why this is related to climate change, by simply reading the fucking article, you will now feel much better informed.

I'm not going to debate it, because there's nothing more to be said, and you're welcome.

[–]Questionable 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (12 children)

Right. Because I'm talking about the WEF banking cartel, and you are quoting Main Stream Media as facts. You are Not the Player Character.

[–]ActuallyNot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

Because I'm talking about the WEF banking cartel

Are you.

The article is about methane emissions from landfill in India.

and you are quoting Main Stream Media as facts.

No. Just the same fucking article you are commenting on.

You are not the player character.

What the fuck do you possibly mean to convey with that sentence?

[–]Questionable 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

Are you.

The article is about

Congratulations. You now recognized the difference between me and the article.

What the fuck do you possibly mean to convey with that sentence?

Bit slow aren't we?

[–]ActuallyNot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

Congratulations. You now recognized the difference between me and the article.

This started with a comment you posted which showed that you hadn't even read the article. I have no problem telling the difference.

Bit slow aren't we?

Either that or you're posting meaningless dribble. I tend to suspect that latter, as you don't have a history in this thread or others of leaning too hard on reality for support.

[–]MightyMorphinFaggot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Why do they quote nasa and throw insults? 0 effort from a single person to say why that's a thing.

[–]Countach_3D 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Environmentalism is not the same thing as climate change.

This is true, but

Fires caused by heat and methane gas sporadically break out and some deep beneath the pile can smolder for weeks or months. Bhalswa and Ghazipur landfills contribute to the country's total output of methane gas.

Methane is the second most abundant greenhouse gas after carbon dioxide, but a more potent contributor to the climate crisis because it traps more heat.

(and needless to say much of that trash is plastic, which releases massive amounts of air pollution during its manufacture.)

[–]Questionable 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

My main concern is actually the narrative of assumed corruption. The Word Economic Forum can use this to destroy a lot of lives, and profit off of these talking points, provided they can convince you of this. Where in fact, they are the corruption.
