Awhile back, many months ago there was a thread that asked members of the Debate to conduct an Intelligence Quotient (IQ for short) test. It turns out, the average member back then had an IQ around the mid to high 120s. This is exceedingly high when compared to the typical average: 100. A large shortfall in that previous thread was that it required no proof. The OP was merely relying on the honesty of those participants. After all, what good is a result if you cannot fully trust it? Thus, proof will be necessitated in the form of a screenshot or image linked via Imgur or a comparable site.

As for the test to be used, it is the same one, Mensa Denmark. It should be noted that this test only covers pattern recognition, however, there is a strong correlation between your score on this and its relation to the other intelligences (with a margin of difference of course); logic, mathematics, verbal, emotional, and 3d spatial awareness. When this test was being devised, it was adjusted to fit the intelligence capability of a regular Dane. If instead of Danes it was Somalians, you would obviously score higher due to the lower average. And last, just because an IQ test is our current strongest indicator of one’s intelligence, it is still very lacking, since it does not cover knowledge and learned skills. Whatever your result is, do understand that it is a snapshot of the greater picture.

I will periodically edit this thread to update a leader board of the latest entries and in a week, I will create a final post with all the results inviting others to share their thoughts on whatever it might be.

I must add that this test is highly anti-semitic. Pattern recognition has a strong correlation to neo-nazi and anti-semitic behavior and its further legitimization through practice is highly offensive and has grave implications for our democracy.

IQ tests were designed to be a one off event so the test subject would be using purely their deductive ability to interpret the questions and calculate the answers and not be able to use prior knowlege. As this test is online anyone can take it multiple times and enhance their pattern recognition skills by repeated practice thereby making it a test of pattern recognition skills and invalidating it as a measure of overall intelligence.

Napoleon never took an IQ test, they hadn't been invented yet. That is just guestimation.

Anyway, I doubt either Bill or Madonna are as smart as they claim.

Are you doing this out of intrigue or is there another reason for comparing IQs? I'm not accusing you of anything, I just don't understand the IQ fixation.

I'm not saying I distrust anyone here, but to get an honest result, you shouldn't rely on anecdotal evidence. Afterall, most of the people here were in the very top margin with everyone being above average. It is to be expected because our movement is largely an intellectual one. I just wish to corroborate this fact with hard proofs.

Personally I'd use a test like TRI-52 if you're trying to get accurate results, which had a strong correlation with WAIS. The Mensa tests are decent, there is just no source on whether they have a meaningful correlation.

          Fellow diagnosed ADHD person here. Like you Dexamphetamine was vital for my time at Uni but I wish I had done more CBT methods earlier. Much prefer them today although I realize there's nothing quite like that smooth calm and focus you get with Dex.

          You might find this interesting then. Study (on adolescents, but still) regarding iron deficiency and ADHD. Granted, I'm not sure if this would be as much of an issue in adult males.

          I had done more CBT methods earlier.

          CBT combined with meditation and exercise helped me a lot.

            I don't recall what I had to do in childhood for it, outside of an EEG and a shit storm of extremely bored days sitting inside of the doctor's office. Behavioral issues were zero percent acceptable in school settings when I was growing up though. Getting a prescription in adulthood didn't require any of that nonsense, thankfully, just a recommendation from an instructor after some choice impulse comments in class.

            I've had one of those done on me as well. Yes, it is more accurate due to the fact it covers all of the intelligences; verbal, emotional, pattern recognition, logic, mathematics, and 3d spatial awareness, whereas Mensa Denmark only covers pattern recognition.

            I have reasons to believe this one is accurate enough to give a very reliable result. It had a large pool of participants from all walks of life to adjust the average, and can be taken by anyone despite language or cultural barriers, which makes it versatile. Also, scoring high on one intelligence, has a strong correlation with scoring high on others with marginal variation.

            It is by no means perfect, but to insinuate it is akin to a Facebook ad IQ test is patently dishonest.

              Such a large difference is indicative of autism or some other neurological abnormality. Those with 'normal' brains do not do not score so widely across the intelligence spectrum. The very least this test can do is find how you compare against the average Dane. There is no lie in the scores on that regard, or any really. It was made by Mensa, who have a very good reputation for making reliable and accurate tests, and they certainly did not cut any corners in the creation of this one.

              I don't doubt that they made sure the testing was reliable within its context. I do see a somewhat worrying ongoing trend of people having an inflated sense of intelligence over these tests though. Not to mention the fact that even if a person tests within a range acceptible enough to boost the ego, it doesn't mean that they shouldn't still constantly be seeking out knowledge-- if nothing else, for the sake of knowing more about the world around you. If you're trying to get a true measure of the people within your movement though, you can't really dismiss neurodivergence.

              Succinctly put. I completely agree. IQ is just a number afterall and is not indicative of the creativity and knowledge an individual may possess. It is very lacking in that regard. This is why, despite the so-told accuracy in these tests, the results should always be taken with a grain of salt. Just because IQ tests are the current strongest indicator of intelligence, one should note that they merely cover a sliver of the bigger picture.

              Mine was 140, but I did mensa.no, and it was a while back. I might do mensa.dk for the lols. I tried the other day but I was interrupted in the middle of doing it.
