Just because 'everyone else' is doing something does not mean that it is a smart thing to do.

If 4 billion people jumped off of a cliff, would you follow after them and jump off that cliff?

This is a fascinating report. Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer were all responsible for distributing toxic vaccines among the American people. This is medical homicide on a mass scale.

These companys deployed their vaccines in specific time intervals, so that there wasn't any overlap between them. Johnson & Johnson sent their batchs in two separate waves lasting about one month each. Moderna sent their batchs in one wave lasting several months. Pfizer sent their batchs in one wave lasting several months. None of the vaccine deployments overlapped.

Honestly, this revelation is confusing to me. I don't know what to make of it.

My understanding was that all the covid vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, AstraZeneca) were dangerous, and that they were all causing some level of damage to their recipients.

But according to this report, only certain batchs of the vaccines are dangerous. The deaths and injurys can all be traced back to these batchs.

This raises alot of unanswered questions. Does this mean that the vaccines themselves aren't actually dangerous, and that only certain batchs are? Does this mean that the long term injurys and deaths we've been predicting will not manifest?

Also, why would the Globalists behind the plandemic do this? If they are trying to perpetrate some form of mass culling or another, then why would they execute it in this manner?

Capital punishment had a eugenic effect on the population by removing the most violent people from the gene pool. Could lax enforcement of the law explain why the Slavs are more aggressive and uncivilised?

JamesRocket has a prolific novel(50k) words on how Germany could've won ww1, this is a smaller tribute to it.

WW2, not WW1. I appreciate the tribute. I'll provide some feedback on your post.

In this scenario, Germany does the inverse of the Schlieffen plan. In our timeline, Germany mobilized 10 field armies in 1914 and deployed 9 of them against France.

In this timeline, it would deploy of them against Russia, 1 against Serbia and 2 of them against France.

Ah, the old 'East First' strategy. There is a thread on that very topic over at AxisHistoryForum, if you are interested.

In the grand scheme of things, Germany probably had a better chance of knocking Russia out of the war than they did of defeating France. It must be kept in mind that their spectacular victory at the battle of Tannenberg (and then the battle of the Masurian lakes) was achieved with just one army. If the Germans had sent six or seven armys against the Russians, they would have been able to inflict really devastating blows. It would have looked alot like Operation Barbarossa, except with cavalry instead of tanks.

Austria would go to war with Serbia, Russia would declare war on Austria, Germany would declare war on Russia and France would come to Russia’s aid. However, without an invasion of Belgium, Britain doesn’t have an excuse to enter the war right away.

This is a smart idea. Deprive Britain of their casus belle. Keep them out of the war a few extra months. They won't be able to blockade Germany or Austria-Hungary, or send the BEF to aid France.

To garner international sympathy and to gain an additional source of manpower, the Kaiser terms the war as ‘’the war of Polish liberation”

Would he really do that, though? And what would the German people think about his claim? They were rather prejudiced against the Poles.

Austria-Hungary meanwhile would blockade and interdict the French in the Mediterranean.

They could only do this if the French sent the majority of their fleet against the Germans, leaving the few remaining ships to deal with the Austro-Hungarians.

However, in this time, the Germans are able to intervene in 1914 rather than in 1915. Bolstered by a further 150,000 German troops, the Austrians inflict lighting defeat on Serbia and knock it out of the war in 3 months.

Another smart idea. The Serbian campaign was a quagmire that went on too long, drawing in too many Austro-Hungarian troops that were needed against Russia. Removing that distraction early on will pay significant dividends for the Central Powers.

A massive double pincer operation is launched against the Russian imperial army in Poland. Three German armies, one from Poznan, one from Danzig, and another from Silesia attack the Russians head-on and pin them in place.

Two armies attack out from Krakow and cross the Vistula River in the south just west of Lwow and another two armies strike out from East Prussia and pierce the Vistula in the north, just east of Bialystok.

The Pincers meet 30 km south of Brezsck and trap the three Russian armies west of the Vistula River.

God damn. Remember what I said about this turning into Operation Barbarossa? This is what the Germans could have done if they had a few extra armys to throw against the Russians. It would have been total annihilation.

So why didn't people show the same concern last year when Covid already killed millions

Are you finally acknowledging the fact that the vaccines do indeed cause deaths and injurys in some people (the numbers of which are recorded by VAERS)?

The coronavirus disproportionately killed off elderly people with health problems; they were the highest risk group. The vaccines, by comparison, are killing off people of all age groups, including the young and healthy. This is cause for alarm.

but deniers claimed it was a myth and there was no need for masking/social distancing?

Vaccine skeptics, NOT deniers. Correct your terminology, otherwise you sound like a shitlib.

And BTW, don't throw all vaccine skeptics into the same box. Only a select few denied the existence of a specific coronavirus.

A new study of the effectiveness of the Covid shots is not good news for the Biden Administration. Published November 4th in the scientific journal Nature, researchers followed 800,000 US veterans for six months after receiving the shot. Between March and November, Moderna effectiveness fell from 85 percent to 58 percent – just a little better than a coin flip. The Pfizer/BioNTech two-dose fell in effectiveness from 87 percent to 45 percent, and the Johnson & Johnson fell in effectiveness from 86 percent to 13 percent!

As the Washington Times wrote about the important new Nature study, “Factor in natural immunity and a case could be made these vaccines are nearly worthless.”

The Globalists will fail in the end. They don't have China, and they don't have Russia. As a result, all of Eurasia (aside from India) is outside of their control. How can they rule over the world without Eurasia? Thats most of the worlds landmass and population. The belt and road initiative will create opportunitys for trade outside of the sea lanes that are controlled by America. The Globalists whole schtick is to swindle their way into all these markets in order to rule the world, but they are systematically being forced out.

The only places where they still have control is in North America, Europe, and to a lesser extent, in South America and Africa. And now that they are going full retard with their anti-industrial policys (the green new deal), the Globalists are guaranteeing that the West will become economically irrelevant. Its the most incoherent and self defeating strategy imaginable. They are destroying their own core territorys which enable them to exert Global influence, while being unable to expand into Eurasia. Thats suicide.

The real bottleneck is going to be unvaccinated eggs. Women are more conformist than men, and are more likely to take the vaccine. Any way you cut it, this vaccination campaign will have catastrophic effects on fertility. It will have a eugenic effect on the entire population.

Take the U.S for example. Vaccination rates clearly show a partisan divide. According to a Gallop poll on September 2021, 92% of Democrats have been vaccinated compared to just 56% of Republicans. That means that liberals are more likely to be sterilized than conservatives.

On the other hand, conservatives have more children than liberals do. Most of the kids come from conservative familys, so the mass vaccination of schoolchildren will wreak havoc there too. No one is going to escape from this madness unharmed.

Child sacrifice. How else are we supposed to interpret this?

What I find even more reprehensible is the mass vaccination of school children, which is ongoing now. Children are in the lowest risk category for the coronavirus, so there is absolutely no justification for vaccinating them. The VAERS database shows that there is a substantial risk of death or injury from the vaccines, so all they are doing is pointlessly endangering children for no reason. This looks like cult behaviour to me.

Why are people still taking this?

Theres a comment on Reddit that trys to explain the mindset of the pro-vaxxers:

''The vast majority of individuals I know who previously considered themselves progressive seem to have summarily decided that lockdowns, mask mandates, and universal vaccine mandates are self-evidently the morally right things to do and worse still that any questioning of the costs and risks vs. benefits of any of these policies is morally reprehensible. There has never been a rational discussion about these policies but instead only a moral imperative to blindly trust in them. Thus, COVID-19 containment efforts have become a quasi-religious issue, and most of the individuals who were once deemed "the left" have now become the equivalent of radical "scientific" fundamentalists who are more than willing to offer up their own children up to a lifetime regimen of mandatory mRNA vaccinations every few months in order to prove their total devotion to their new-formed inflexibly righteous creed.''

When people are more busy worrying about vaccines causing autism than actually attacking the system people start reporting things more.

Thats a nice rationalisation, but the number of 'incidents' (injurys or deaths) are still heavily underreported. That makes your handwave irrelevant.

"VAERS is the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System put in place in 1990. It is a voluntary reporting system that has been estimated to account for only 1% (see the Lazarus Report) of vaccine injuries."

A million people who are breakfast cereal have died during the pandemic. Cereal isn't a lizard people plot to put us all in labor camps.

False equivalency. We wouldn't expect to see people die from eating cereal, but we would expect to see people die from the vaccines. Especially when we have an abundance of reports about the clotting damage it causes, and verified reports of deaths and injurys (numbering in the thousands).

At this moment, we have the former but not the latter. (And thats ignoring the fact that most hyperinflations are preceeded by a bout of deflation, which we haven't observed yet)

Its good to warn people about the dangers of the U.S. governments insane economic and monetary policy. But I would be cautious about shouting that the collapse is going to happen any day now. My timeframe is that it will probably happen in the next 4 years.

There's a lot of seesawing among the elites in regard to China. There seem to be two factions. One is what can be described as the American military-intelligence apparatus, i.e the state department, the CIA, the pentagon and NGOs, think tanks, and media orgs strongly affiliated with them, for example, the RAND Corporation, Fox News, and the AEI. They largely form what most people refer to as the ''Deep State''.

The other faction is more plutocratic in nature. It's the tech companies, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, high finance led by BlackRock, and lastly, Hollywood. This faction is extremely anti-white, they have a soft spot for marxism and are more represented in the private sector. They have a more technocratic view of the world and are at the forefront of the globalist movement.

Thats a good summary of the two main factions running the show. If the Globalists could be divided into two camps, it would be the Deep State and the World Economic Forum.

These two factions have been fighting over strategy for the past couple of years. The WEF wanted to stick with its original plan which was to complete the de-industrialisation of the West, and then to transfer their flag to China and continue with business as usual. But since China was not co-operating with their plans, the WEF tried to use soft power to get them to submit fully. The Deep State wanted to take a hostile stance against China, but they were prevented from doing so by the WEF. But now things have changed.

The Davos crowd at WEF seem to have finally understood that China is not going to work with them, no matter how much pressure they try to exert. Now, it looks like they are going to let the Deep State have their war. This might also explain why they have suddenly ceased with their provocations against Russia. The Globalists know that the United States can't win a war against both of them. They want to encircle China and subject it to a type of blockade. They are hoping that if it does come to war, that Russia will stay out of it.

China for its part has strung the plutocrats along. They offer limited access to Blackrock and JP Morgan. They allow limited access to Hollywood and the NBA. Whether it's a sign of them submitting to the liberal faction of the US elite or simply using this to buy time, I do not know. I lean towards and hope for the latter.

The Chinese are stringing them along. They have no intention of submitting to the Globalists and their agenda. They know that the West is undergoing rapid decay due to the anti-industrialisation policys of its Elites, so they are just placating them with empty promises and stalling for time. In a few years, the balance of power will shift even more in the favor of China. The Globalists might finally be catching on to their game, though, which is why they are taking a more hostile stance. The sale of submarines to Australia is definitely an important indication of where things are headed.

In the US the elites are split. No doubt, the existence of nuclear weapons and other WMDs like neurotoxins and bioweapons weigh heavily into this hesitancy.

However, recently there is reason to believe that they're leaning more towards military action. The US directly stationed troops in Taiwan in an unprecedented display of hostility. The US also has agreed to sell 60 billion dollars worth of nuclear submarines to Australia. Now, the declaration that it defend Taiwan against Chinese aggression.

Theres an excellent article by Tom Luongo about the geopolitical situation that is unfolding today. Things are getting very complicated very quickly. There are many players involved in this game (America, Europe, China, Russia, etc), and when one of them changes their plans, it completely changes the playing fields and forces the others to improvise. Things are not proceeding in the direction that the World Economic Forum desires. They wanted to subvert China and take it over to use as a headquarters, but now, they may be forced to try to strangle it into submission or even go to war.

[–]TheJamesRocket 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

There's 7.7 million unemployed in the US, so 4.3 million unemployable doesn't imply insufficient labour.

The official unemployment number in the U.S. is 8.4 million (or 4.8%). The true unemployment number is 14.3 million (or 8.1%).

Anyways, looking at numbers alone doesn't always tell you the whole story. All workers specialize in certain fields, and they can't be treated as interchangeable. For instance, there might be 1 million jobs available in the labour market, but only 200,000 labourers who are looking for work. You might also have the reverse situation, where there are 200,000 jobs available in the service sector, but 1 million workers who can't find employment.

And insufficient labour in the US doesn't imply a global economic catastrophe.

If there aren't enough workers to unload supplys off the ships at the ports, if there aren't enough truck drivers to move the supplys from the ports to the citys, then there will be a supply shortage. Plain and simple.

4.3 million workers quitting their jobs in 1 month is unbelievably bad. If the numbers for September are anywhere near what they were for August, thats a dire situation indeed.

All the ingredients for an economic crisis are there, but whether or not there will be a crisis is something no one can say. I was predicting an economic collapse in March 2020, and it didn't happen. I'm not going to be caught playing the role of chicken little again.

I cannot image a scenario where the ultra rich allow their own wealth to be destroyed.

Their wealth won't be destroyed in an dollar collapse, because their wealth isn't tied up in dollars. The Elites use foreign currencys, stocks, bonds, and precious metals. If the.collapse is limited mainly to the U.S., it won't hurt them at all. In fact, it will help them because they can leverage their access to foreign currencys and buy up assets for pennys on the pound. The Elites will end up owning everything. Thats the essence of NeoFeudalism.

You win the prize for the most detailed response, caspar. Hands down.

Its smart of you to give an overview of different scenarios that could all result in a collapse. I myself believe that these other scenarios are a possibility, albeit less likely than the prospect of financial collapse (which I find to be inevitable).

If I had to assign a probability value to each of your scenarios, I would rate them like so.

War-related collapse: 10-15%. / War with Russia and China is more likely now than it was 4 years ago, but it probably won't escalate to the point where nuclear weapons are used. If there is any war at all, it will most likely be a conventional war between China and Taiwan. Defeat will result in a loss of prestige for America, but not an actual collapse.

Internal revolution: 5%. / A Far Right insurgency is more likely now than it was 4 years ago, but it still remains a long way off. Things will need to deteriorate alot more before the Far Right hits critical mass. People are still too comfortable, and have too much to lose.

Secession: 25-30%. / The prospect of states seceding from the Union becomes more and more likely with every year that passes, as the partisan divide in the U.S. becomes worse, and Washington blunders from one crisis to another. There are political obstacles to secession, but these may not prove to be insurmountable if the country continues on its reckless path to destruction. Eventually, some states will find it unbearable to remain tied to a decaying country, and the stage will be set for a breakup.

Mexicanization: 45-50%. This is the most likely out of all your scenarios, but it will require several decades before it yields a collapse. A financial crisis is likely to destroy the country before this process is complete.

Now its time to add my thoughts on when and how America collapses.

I believe it will happen within the next 4 years. I predict that a financial crisis will be what sets it all off. The collapse will then be followed by Balkanization as the U.S. splits up into several different states.

The plandemic was in many ways the inflection point for America. It was a scheme enacted by the Elites to extract wealth from the middle and lower classes, to destroy small businesses, and restructure the economy around megacorporations. They wanted to build monopolys based around a few giant companys that could enact Marxist control mechanisms over society. (Denying services to political dissidents)

Everything went according to plan, but it had major consequences for America. The country went into lockdown for well over a year: Tens of millions of people were no longer engaged in economic productivity, as they were basically unemployed. This meant that Federal tax revenues declined significantly in 2020. At the same time, there was rampant spending by the Federal government in the form of covid relief, and unemployment insurance. America was spending more money at a time when it was making less revenue. In a financial and monetary sense, this redlined the entire country.

After 2020, the U.S. is having more and more difficulty making the interest payments on its national debt. We are already seeing these problems manifest themselves now, as we look at the partisan divide over the U.S. debt ceiling. Even if this short term problem gets fixed, the long term prognosis for America looks grim. The national debt currently stands at 28 trillion, and this is expected to balloon to 48 trillion in just 4 years. If it ever comes to the point where the U.S. cannot service its national debt, and it is forced to default on its payments, this will set off a chain of events that will lead to financial ruin.

Okay, theres lots of interesting responses here. There are 8 posters explicitly stating what they think will happen, and 2 more posters who were less explicit about their thoughts. If we group their opinions by category, it would look something like this:

Centurys long collapse: SerpensInferna, Alan_Crowe, Popper (?), JuliusCaesar225 (?).

Brazilification: Blackbrownfreestuff, Letssavethefirsworld.

Balkanization: WhiteZealot.

Financial collapse: shilldetector.

Combination: send_nasty_stuff, casparvoneverec.

I am very surprised at the number of people who believe the U.S. won't collapse any time this century. This doesn't look like a very realistic prediction given how fast things are falling apart already. I'm not entirely sure how this belief can be rationalised. Even the slow and gradual decline that comes with Brazilification would eventually result in a qausi-collapse.

Germany had access to only captured and domestic supplies of Uranium.

The mines in Belgium provided more than enough uranium for their purposes. During the war, the Germans mined 3500 tons of uranium.

Naturally but this is all getting into the issue of the war situation. Without significant changes no German nuclear site is beyond the reach of Allied bombing by 1945.

Only if the USAAF moved their B-29 bomber squadrons to Britain. Those were the only aircraft with enough range to hit targets in Poland and fly back out. And those would be vulnerable to interception by aircraft like the Ta-152 fighter and the Me-262 jet fighter.

Within a couple of hundreds of millions of years from now, the Sun will become so bright that it will boil the Earth, guaranteed to kill all complex life on Earth.

To be more specific, its more like 600-1000 million years.

When considering how quickly humanity has advanced technologically in the past several centurys alone, it is difficult to imagine what they might achieve in several millenia. Especially when realising that the Earth will be ruled by superintelligent agents by then. Civilisation is only about 2500 years old, imagine what it might achieve after 10,000 years. Technologys such as Dyson spheres are utterly impossible with our current technology, but who knows what might happen in several millenia.

If a civilisation can build a Dyson sphere, then they can influence the evolution of their own home star. There is a hypothetical process called star lifting whereby a portion of a stars mass can be removed from its surface, which lessens the gravitational pressure on its core, which consequently reduces the amount of hydrogen the star must burn. Star lifting could extend the lifespan of a main sequence star far beyond what would normally be possible. It sounds insane, but it doesn't violate the laws of physics.

Is this the Norwegian one or is it another one in Germany?

The Germans had two heavy water plants up and running during the war. They had the well known Norsk Hydro plant in Rjukan, and the I.G. Farben plant in Leuna (near Berlin). Both of these were bombed out of commission.

"Pineapple sized piece" of what kind of uranium?

The quote from Heisenberg was about the quantity of enriched uranium he believed was necessary to initiate a nuclear explosion. The bomb itself would obviously be larger than just the uranium content alone.

it is evident that Germany had enough unprocessed Uranium in 1945 to produce a bomb; the hard bit would be constructing a place to refine it all

The German scientists had been working on the process of uranium enrichment since 1941. They invented several different methods of achieving this: Through centrifuges, isotope sluices, and mass spectrometers. All of these devices were actually in operation by 1944. The problem was that the Germans simply did not make enough of them, and as a result, they were only able to result small quantitys of uranium before the war ended.

Nazi nukes is a pretty big longshot. The Nazi's had neither the knowhow, resources or will to pursue the nuclear option.

Thats not true. The Germans had the technical knowledge to embark on a nuclear program. The resources could have been made available, it the leadership had recognised the importance of it.

The material used in the trinity test was bought specifically by the Allies to prevent Germany getting it

What are you talking about? That small bit of uranium carried by the U-boat that was captured, U-234? That was nothing compared to the thousands of tons of uranium mined by Germany during the war.

and German facilities that could even be involved in a nuclear program were surgically targeted by Allies bombing and special forces.

A serious nuclear program would have its infrastructure located well inside German territory, making it less exposed to aerial bombing. It would also be more heavily defended by radar, flak artillery, etc.

Any German program will be years behind an Allied one and I shudder to imagine the Allied bombing campaign dropping more nukes than they did historically.

If the Nazis embarked on a crash program in 1942 (at the same time as the Americans), they might get an atomic bomb in 1946. Thats not early enough to respond to any atomic attacks on German citys in 1945, but it would be available for the next year. That would probably be enough to deter the Allies from launching any more attacks, and allow the war to end in a stalemate.

It doesn't matter whether or not you find it credible. All the evidence shows that this is what is actually happening, and we have to deal with that. They knew what the Nazis would likely do if war broke out, and yet they went ahead and started the war anyway.

If deaths happen hours or days after vaccination, then it is labelled as an 'unvaccinated death.' This is a statistical sleight of hand that conceals the true scale of the death toll.

And at any rate, we can undoubtedly expect that the number of deaths among the vaccinated will only grow larger in the years to come. Studys have shown that the vaccines can cause vascular damage and thrombosis, and this disease takes time to develop to the point where it becomes fatal.

Since our leaders are weak and incompetent, they didn't do a very good job at containing it.

You totally missed your mark. You are operating under the assumption that the official story about the coronavirus is true. You pre-suppose the establishment narrative that the coronavirus is a deadly, rapidly spreading disease that could only be fought with lockdowns and isolation. In fact, the coronavirus is relatively benign with a 99% survival rate. There was no need for lockdowns whatsoever, certainly not lockdowns that stretched long past the original 2 week deadline. That did more harm to society than the virus itself did.

And thats ignoring the fact that the coronavirus was, in all likelihood, a genetically engineered strain that was deliberately released by China (or perhaps the United States, the true culprit is unknown). The pandemic was planned out months in advance during Event 201 by the Johns Hopkins Center in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The plandemic was the centerpiece of the WEFs plans for a great reset. So in sum, your comment is so far off the mark that it is not only not right, it is not even wrong.

That depends on how you define 'tiny possibility.' The CDC keeps records on the number of people who have died from adverse reactions to the vaccines. The CDC reported 12,313 deaths on their website, before they hastily edited that number down to 6079 deaths. That was back on July 19, so the true number must be even higher by now.

Remember, these numbers are just for the United States. The true number of deaths around the world is going to be significantly higher. And thats not to mention the people who were 'merely' injured from the vaccine.

Markimus totally gets it. DissidentHR, Cisheteroscum, fitter_happier and a lot of the reddit old guard totally get this.

No, he doesn't get it. Markimus doesn't understand the WEF and the great reset. I've had to school him on this subject before. He has arguments from incredulity, nothing more. He can't imagine why the Elites would want to administer a dangerous vaccine to the population, and he dismisses anyone who shows the health risks of the vaccine.

Cisheteroscum is on record saying that he hasn't taken the vaccine, and he doesn't believe in the covid hysteria. What makes you think he is on your side?

Ethnocrat is not well informed about the science behind the vaccines.

DissidentHR is probably a shill. Just like you are.

You seem a little wobbly on it and casparon has never had a fucking clue despite occasionally dropping some red pill crumbs here and there.

On the contrary, casparvoneverec is probably the best informed person about the science behind the vaccines. With the possible exception of myself, and send_nasty_stuff. The three of us have provided a veritable mountain of evidence about the danger of the vaccines, and all other aspects of the plandemic.

so tell me who some of these elites you speak of are?

Allow me to answer that question.

You want to know who is participating in the World Economic Forum? You might just as well ask who isn't participating in it. On the WEF website, they list the names of their partners. Take a long, hard look at that list. It includes a large number of Fortune 100 companys. Don't believe me? Here are the Top 5 largest corporations listed as WEF partners: Walmart. Amazon. Apple. CVS Health. AmerisourceBergen.

5 out of the top 10 largest corporations in the world have signed on to the WEF and the great reset. If that doesn't scare you, then the names of these other companys should: AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson. Do these names sound familiar to you? They should, because they are the same companys that are manufacturing the vaccines. What an amazing coincidence!

The WEF even lists Microsoft as one of their partners. Bill Gates is a known spokesman for mass vaccination. Here are some more names. JPMorgan Chase, Verizon Communications, Centene, Chevron, Dell Technologies, Bank of America. The list goes on ad infinitum. These are among the 30 largest corporations in the world. They are all onboard with the WEF and the great reset. Find out who runs those companys, and you will have your list of names.

The Psychology of Mass Movements and Revolutions by TheJamesRocket in debatealtright

His psuedopsychoanalysis just says anyone who doesn't like the status quo is a loser who is willing to throw away their life for any change

Hoffer has an unromantic perspective on the individuals who join mass movements, that is true. But I can't say that his characterization is entirely wrong. It is a self evident fact that social malcontents are always drawn to revolutionary movements. After all, if they weren't discontent with society, then why would they be rebelling against it? The reasons for discontent only matter in so much as they compel the individual to join a revolutionary group and fight the establishment.

On its face, it may seem that Hoffer is taking a swipe at the characters of these persons. On the other hand, it may simply be that he is giving a dry exposition on the social conditions that produce revolutionary movements, without regard for niceties.

Mass movements apparently have no real ideals and can just be substituted for anything

Again, thats a matter of interpretation. I did not get the impression that Hoffer was making value judgements about the mass movements he studys. He is simply stating that revolutionary groups are all of the basic character, regardless of the causes they champion. In his view, the Nazis of the 1920s were interchangeable with the Bolsheviks of the 1910s.

That comparison will understandably piss of sympathizers of either group, leading them to explain just how different their causes were. But thats missing the point. Ideologys only matter in so far as they compel a group of malcontents to overthrow the establishment. It doesn't matter whether the cause is valid or not, it only matters if the revolutionarys are inspired by it to the point where they are willing to risk their lives in pursuit of the vision.
