Interesting how so many sources are in agreement on this potential murder.

Some sources also note that he was not upset or showing any signs of distress before he died, though he was worried about Boeing's potential approach.

The gunshot wound was near his right temple. Anyone who knows about guns will know that it's very difficult to hold a gun steady while firing it near the temple area. A gun's recoil will tip it slightly upward. There are better methodss for shooting one's self. Moreover, the gun was found in his hand. So, after shooting himself in the temple, he was able to hold onto the gun as it fell? Is the Charleston County Coroner's Office report reliable?

So that's my expert armchair analysis. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I'm not convinced there was a motive or a believable method for a suicide.

It's totally possible for someone to continue holding on to a gun after shooting themselves; posturing from brain damage generally causes the hands to squeeze closed, and regardless the trigger guard is more than enough to keep a gun in a limp hand.
