california is a big desert, if you take away the water.

btw, california has a catastrophic water shortage issue that is only going to get worse.

Everywhere is a desert if you take away the water. California had sprawling forests when it was first settled. Some of the oldest trees on earth too. Moist air flows from the ocean, hits the mountains and rains. Water management should be easy for California. The problem is Democrats elect low IQ, emotional people.

A full-on desert is California's natural state, so there's that!

Not really a convincing opposite side. For starters it's not winter, so the argument that the dumping of water is due to a winter time regulation is an outright lie. Secondly, if the intention is to simply make room in the reservoir then it should be done by encouraging more use. Reduce water costs for a few weeks and let people fill up thier own storage bins for the dry season.

Instead they are telling residents to REDUCE consumption.

Your "alternative explanation" is in direct conflict with the facts.
