I'll be glad when this new liar is in the whitehouse and trump is back on his golf course. I'm sure he will be well remunerated for his efforts in maintaining the status quo over the past 4 years. I'll be glad simply because places like this will go back to normal.

As an Australian I was happy to see obarrrhma in for 2 terms because the media go silent over there when demoncrats hold office, that's what I like now, peace and quiet. If either camp were actually doing something positive aside from their efforts to enrich corporations I might care a little, but they are just like our politicians. It's a great time to be alive, still, but not to engage in politics.

i see where you are coming from i guess ressistance is futile so who cares about the future.

I care about my Personal future, and that's all that matters to me. It's only starving or oppressed people who band together for change and a bright future, but pull a few of them out of the pack and improve their individual lives and they quickly loose interest in "the struggle".

But trying to change what's happening there IS futile. I'm a student of history and Change only comes when the masses are starving or the masses have a strong military faction behind them. You have neither in the US, all you have is a slow slide into servitude but EBT cards keep you well fed, if not well nourished. All the talk of "it's time" is such utter bullshit I groan every time I read it. It "was time" 100 years ago with the advent of the federal reserve bank and back then men were still men, today? Forget it. Before men can join the revolution today they have to get permission from their wives, then they have to get their cats into a "Cat Motel" for the duration, then they have to buy enough hair dye and moisturizer and shampoo and conditioner to last through the action. Are we getting the picture...

alot of what your saying is true and i agree with you. did you go to some type of college or is this a autodidactory education? and caring about your future im curious if you are pro or antivax? starving and oppressed people have less money and resources to fight back against the system in which they are enslaved to but then again we are all enslaved to a certain degree. when the shit hits the fan i dont think the shampoo cat types will be worried about that and if they are they wont be the ones saving the world.

I went to Uni and began an engineering degree but that sort of learning is ultimately useless to the scheme of things isn't it. I found I actually hated the indoor environment as I had come back to studies after a decade in construction, but that's a whole other story. I never finished the degree and went into business as a sole proprietor working back out under the sun and that allowed me a LOT of free time. Time I never would have had as a drone number cruncher, or more likely as a sales engineer as many end up being. I have spent quite a bit of that time online, ever since I discovered dieoff.org back in 2004. Didn't that little visit change my life! Anyway combine a search for truth with the fact I haven't owned a TV set or even listened to the radio since the 1980's and you can imagine where my brain is now.

99% of what the average person in the little town I moved to up country believes as truth, is bullshit to me. And they think for the most part like those in the city I moved down from, though they are more friendly and open. They all invest heavily in the stockmarket via their pension plans, they all bought investment properties if they had the means, in other words they all do what they are told by the mass media via the TV that programs them. Now as for vaccinations, the flu vax, in all it's forms is simply bullshit to me, though the polio, diphtheria and tetanus injections I have had over the years were a good bit of science. Like all man-made institutions medicine has become as corrupt as hell and I generally keep well away from doctors.

How about yourself? What was your journey here like, and what do you think about creating a lifeboat for yourself and family (if you have one) to try and ride out these turbulent times. Have you made a home in the city or countryside far from the centralized control?
