Stuff is going to get worse before it gets better. Stock up on food and ammo. When they feel enough guns have been removed they will attempt to delete the constitution along with the bill of rights. Internet and phone lines will be cut. We have seen it done in other countries. It will happen here. Invest in short range radios and simple to set up communication devices.

Virginia is just the start of something bigger. 1 down. 49 states to go.

Stay safe out there.

Ahh, I see you're an optimist! :)

A lot of things will be rapidly fixed after the fighting is over. There will be several years of progress before everything goes to shit again.

So long as foreign mercenaries from the UN don't show up, we can't lose. I doubt they would risk America turning against them. Public opinion on the UN isn't that great as it is. Knowing they tried to stop us from ruling ourselves would result in a large part of the new government showing them no political mercy.

Maybe Canada gets involved, but I doubt it. China or Russia would step into our waters to split our focus for a laugh. No country would dare step foot on U.S. soil while we're fighting each other.

I see very few scenarios where the civilians lose. Not the gambling type, but I like the odds, and am willing to bet on a better future. At least a decade of peace afterwards. It would be nice to see.

Why are you so confident about this?

Nukes, mainly. Iran shot a passenger plane in a panic.

America would nuke the first bitch to interfere if it looked like they were attempting to help the rebels. There's also the unknown. A 3rd fighter enters the combat zone to fight for the "Real" America would permanently end up on America's shit list if they bet on the wrong horse.

Russia wouldn't risk it. China would use the distraction to build more islands. Mexico gains nothing by interfering. Canada... Canada openly hates America, but they would have nowhere to retreat to if they get pushed back.

Another thing to remember is this won't be normal warfare. This would be guerrilla style hit and run tactics. Canada doesn't have a giant wall on their border to stop people from sneaking in, taking a few shots, and bailing out.

While middle east could offer aid to whoever they wanted to win, I doubt it would be enough to tip the balance.

England. lol. Hell no. They didn't touch the first civil war. They won't touch the second. Someone can correct me if they think I'm wrong. The idea of England trying to interfere with that bloodbath is funny to me.

Germany would probably profit from it in small ways (economically.)

France. I have no idea how France would respond.

Japan and South Korea would be too concerned with their own political problems if America wasn't there looking scary behind them. Japan can hold their own until America fixes itself, but South Korea would need aid if China and Nouth Korea chose to march.

Australia could risk a land grab if China told them to, but the political backlash on the Global Stage makes such a bold move very risky. One of America's allies might intervene to stop them if it looked like we needed a few boats to slow them down. It sounds ridiculous and would never happen in a thousand years. Still fun to think about it.

South America, and the countries therein, would probably be better off without America bothering them. Environmentally at least... A few countries might attack each other if America took a 30 day leave of absence.

I can't imagine another country seeing the opportunity, mobilizing, acting on that huge risk, without severely regretting it afterwards.

I'm more worried about a faceless mercenary company showing up. That would prove problematic for the first 2 weeks.

It's a valid question.

No one has ever successfully fought a ground war in Colorado.

Or Texas.

Or the Dakotas.

Or Michigan.

Literally all we’d have to do is dissolve the Constitution. Do you not even remember Waco or Ruby Ridge.

USA owns all the crazy, aside from China and we got Japan for that.

I wasn’t arguing with you.

Taiwan would get involved with any war.

The US is actively arming Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.

Taiwan is under the impression that it can’t hold out against China for more than two weeks. China is under the impression that if can’t defeat Taiwan in under two weeks, it wouldn’t be able to win.

Do you know why the US invests so much in its military industrial complex? This is a hegemony the likes of which have never been seen.

We’re in this until the LA Olympics, minimum.
