I'm shadowbanned from commenting on all of youtube also. It's probably extremely common yet no one talks about it. You think you're participating but no one ever sees it or votes, it disappears from view when you log out

Seems the pause is over? It's frustrating as you can't even see what the ban/pause was for.

Oh that's good at least. Mine seems to be permanent. I have no idea why I'm shadowbanned, or how many years ago it happened. Thankfully I don't comment on youtube a lot. If I had to guess, probably had to do with me commenting about the mRNA shots under a video about it.

Stuff like this is the death of internet community. I predict a slow rejection of the internet over the next decade for this reason.

Makes no sense, though. The whole idea behind a forum/comments is that you have people talking about the video. If you disable/ban/pause them, you're taking away what makes a YT video better than a movie/show on legacy media. That and not even referencing what it was that caused offense is stupid.
