How is that even a discussion. The entire fucking POINT is that you run your own instance and block whoever you want/defederate/whatever. It's like a subreddit with sub-subreddits. Same way subs used to be "if u dont like it make ur own" except now you can also block association to other subs. The fuck else do people want?

As a user, I hate being at the whim of some idiot that thought it was cool to run a server in their basement. I just want to be banned for spamming only, but if I want to be an asshole (because I am responding to another asshole for example) that should be an option.
