Ah, the lines are being demonstrated far more clearly than they would like. I am hopeful this will be a good thing.

If people see this as an explicit step by the UN to claim legal jurisdiction in a specific US case, a few more might just say, "Wait a second? Does the UN actually have this power, and if so, how? Who gave them this power? What?!" The drive for global power is diminished each time it is forced out of the shadows and shown for what it is: massive tyrannical power consolidation into a very small group of completely unelected hands.
