Stats show that the vaccines have helped people build antibodies, which lead to a reduction of the spread, until the next strain - omicron. This too will have a bell curve in the stats.

Did you just admit the vaxes have very limited efficacy against omicron? That's what it looks like to me as well: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/israel

Omicron required another dose. With the initial spread of omicron, the advice was to get a booster shot ASAP, as this would help with the effectiveness of the vaccines. (3 shots are more effective than 2 shots in preparation for omicron.)

Israel was well into their 3rd or 4th shot when this GIGANTIC SPIKE OF CASES happened.

I trust absolutely nothing reported by the government-controlled Israeli news media

You bitch about non credible sources every day, so I show you the single most cited COVID stats of the last 2 years, and you deny those too. Not fair.

You can substitute Israel with the US, the same trend holds. It's holding worldwide. Covid vaxes don't stop omicron spread. Duh asshole.

Sorry if it seems unfair. It would take a while to explain why I think the Israel news media are not trustworthy. Regarding omicron, the problem in Israel - if I remember correctly - is that the spike in cases occured because it that strain reached them after it had reached other countries. Regarding vaccines - they helped keep the symptoms at a minimum.

Did I fucking cite 'Israel news media'? No I did not. I cited worldometers.info which gets their data from here: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/about/

You said this:

Israel was well into their 3rd or 4th shot when this GIGANTIC SPIKE OF CASES happened.

The source for which is the Israel government propaganda news, even if it's not linked. That's the only way we get Israel news. It does not reference Palestinians who've had shots, nor the Palestinians who live in Israel who've had shots, nor does that media necessarily address the kinds of restrictions that are in place.

Regarding the link you provided, it does not mention vaccine doses, as it records cases and deaths (also provided by Israel). Your source for vaccines is Israel news media. The spikes noted in Israel are similar to the spikes in other countries at the time of the spread of omicron.

Your argument appears to be that - because vaccinated people can still get omicron - vaccines don't work. And as I've explained several times in detail (and I genuinely don't give a FUCK about any of this shit): vaccines help build antibodies that help reduce the impact of the virus when one gets it, and thus reduces the time that one is sick, and reduces the severity of the illness, and for this reason one is less likely to spread the virus. Thus all major countries with omicron cases saw spikes in infections, but fewer deaths and fewer serious cases, among those who were vaccinated. Hospitals still received a high percentage of unvaccinated people who were seriously ill when they got the virus.

And as you may know - I'm not the best person to ask about any of this. You know what I'll say. Ask me instead about computer hardware, something I've worked with for a long time. The other reason you shouldn't ask me is that this is a personal matter for you, and very upsetting. Please do not involve me, unless of course you genuinely want my support.

It was repeated worldwide ad infinium. Israel was the test bed everyone was watching. You are doubting WHO and CDC stats to prove they are correct about COVID. Very strange.

Regarding the link you provided, it does not mention vaccine doses, as it records cases and deaths (also provided by Israel).

Yes, I was talking about the omicron cases spike and using data to justify my pedestrian ass points.

Your source for vaccines is Israel news media.

Nope

The spikes noted in Israel are similar to the spikes in other countries at the time of the spread of omicron.

That's what I told you earlier.

and I genuinely don't give a FUCK about any of this shit

Then WTF? Just here to start debates and not finish them? More bad faith.

And as you may know - I'm not the best person to ask about any of this.

Finally a good point.
