Not everybody pines for their glory days on the High School Debate Team, nor gives a rat's ass about engaging in pointless debating of those that will never change their minds, irregardless of what evidence or proof is presented. Try debating a Flat Earth Society pinhead for a quick lesson is futility. I may on occasion debate, but mostly I prefer simply making comments and moving on. When googling saidit what comes up is:

Maybe this should be changed to 'debate your truth', if that is to be the foremost criteria of what is or is not welcome here. As for 'disappearing' comments or opinions, that is indeed censorship, and against the intent of 'Free Speech'. You can call it 'filtering' or whatever other spin you want, but the leftist love of redefining words and concepts inconvenient to their wants and needs is still BS, even if it is not being done by or for leftists. If you want Saidit to be exclusively an online debate club, that is your choice. If you want to censor, disappear, filter out (or whatever) anything that does not conform to NPDA Rules of Debating, that is also your choice. Just don't fool yourself, as this will cost Saidit a large chunk of patrons. I suspect many (if not most) came to the Reddit alternatives (Saidit, 8kun, Ruqqus, Voat, Poal, Mewe, etc.) to send a loud and clear FU to Stevie Huffman, his wannabe-censor mods and banhammer-loving admin, along with their well groomed commie-socialist-leftard-libturd echo chamber.
