We gotta flood the market of podcasts. They can't stop all of us!

As if anyone gives a fuck about the fate of podcasts, unless they're spreading propaganda, which is often spread with the help of these opinion pieces. Google 'Didi Rankovic' and see all of the impressive work this person has done to blame social media companies for censorship(of what? anti-vax propaganda? Stuff like that?). This person is relentless, and obviously well funded. Seems 'Reclaim the Net' is this person's main platform. Notice that this work is part of a broader Russian-funded initiative to spread propaganda. Expect to see more of it. MSM social media platforms are not 'ruined', by any stretch of the imagination. Good to know about this Russian troll, however, as I was unaware of Reclaim the Net until getting to Saidit.

Censorship in any form, including unpopular information is unacceptable. Let people hear what they want and make up their own minds. Despite the detractors, over time it will create a more critical and logic based populace, and raise the general discourse.

I agree. What worries me, however, is the lack of the FCC Fairness Doctrine, which was killed in the 1980s. Since then Fox "News" and others have been able constantly lie, whilst claiming they were telling the truth. The 40 year spread of propaganda is corrupting the US electorate, so that many of them now want to argue over facts, science, vaccines, and other issues that people in other countries would never think of questioning. If Twitter and Facebook can reduce the massive number of propaganda podcasts pushed by right-wing corporations that are intentially misleading, all the better. These are not uncle Joe's propaganda posts. These are highly professional campaigns. Fuck them.
