Man they don't need shills these days it seems. Imagine all the cringe ass shit they conviced you back when your younger to like, and turns out, it's low thought garbage. 90's kids don't look back and be like wow that shit was smart! Wow that show really taught me a lot!, wow that show educated me! I can't think of one. They where all psyuedo feel good but really nothing was done, My example would be david the gnome generation.

Much of the media of the past decades are simply propaganda or mindless feel-good. I will applaud Netflix and other services that I usually abhor in this circumstance, as they sometimes produce shows of substance, but they usually don't reach beyond blatant echoes of past shows (i.e. Black Mirror being a modern version of shows like the Twilight Zone, but with a more technologically antagonistic approach) or blatant respins of the same shitty Young Adult novel structure that has been used since like the 80s or 90s (Hivemindism and Totalitarianism are bad, guys!!!! See how provacative and hip I am??)
