I encourage everyone to view sexual politics from a more evolutionary perspective.

Whenever I see one side or another start to demand more “fair” treatment by the opposite sex I think, here’s someone in total denial of evolution. Men evolved the complex economics of our civilization. They did it as a scheme to get laid. Hunting with flint spears, the agricultural revolution, the industrial revolution— all a quest to bag babes. Females are highly specialized to birth and raise children, not to be economically productive. Female held jobs tend to be not particularly wealth producing and are usually heavily subsidized or incentivized by government regulation. Even in fields where women do perform about as well as men women are simply driving down the price of wages. We dont really need more workers in our society— we have too many. That is what has destroyed “living wages” for low skill jobs. We doubled the work force and cut wage prices in half. Supply and demand.

Meanwhile there is an extreme scarcity of moms. Kids are being raised by the state. Naturally they are fucking it up. So women in the workplace is a total disaster. From an evolutionary POV.

I feel like this article is completely conflating typical sexual negotiations and conflicts between men and women with serious sex assaults and rapes.

The article cites a study where inmates choose their most likely targets by gait. Is this even in the context of a sexual crime? Are these men sizing up people for mugging? Why is this relevent to a discussion about men mistakenly perceiving sexual interest?

Dark triad

I feel that modern psychology has lost the plot and maybe it never really had it to begin with. Modern psychological paradigms are largely religious beliefs IMO. Constructs that might be useful for certain purposes but not a true reflection of reality. Its not clear to me at all that psychopathy as defined by DSM V is a pathological condition and not just an extreme end of the spectrum for certain behavioral traits.

But “dark triad” sells a lot of books and if you say the guy in your office asked for a date because he’s a dark triad just like the guys that lie in wait to mug people with irregular gaits, then it really justifies you reporting that guy to HR and ruining his life. Hmm.

Tips to not getting raped: stick with men from your own culture where you know the rules they play by. Dont get drunk or high with men you dont know well, dont get drunk or high alone with a man, don’t dress like a prostitute while you’re getting drunk and high with men.

Tips on how to not get pumped and dumped: don’t sleep with a man until you are at least engaged.
