The MLK family already had a civil trial in 1999.

They found James Earl Ray innocent of all charges.

The federal government. (FBI), State of Tennessee, and city of Memphis were all found guilty. The police officer that shot King still lives.

The gun shot didn't kill King. It hit his jaw and neck.

He was being saved by surgeons so a hospital when a senior neurosurgeon associated with the mob kicked the surgery team out of the OR.

King was then suffocated by a pillow, while he remained unconscious.

The William pepper link? That's the MLK jurist. He's the point man of the MLK assassination trial in 1999.
