What I find stupid is that "germans" did not kill prisoners, Kapos did all the prisoner controlling. Kapos was jews and they were well cared for.

In the Ukraine the Germans just asked the locals to round up the Jews and shoot them while they got drunk. It wasn't as if ethnic violence was a thing people in Eastern Europe needed teaching. Some even started before the Germans got there.
